Bill Blatch

Bill Blatch is the Technical Director of TFD Europe and part of the wider ASI development team. Bill is a member of the modelling and simulation team within TFD Europe and also undertakes consultancy, seminars, presentations and training. As part of this role Bill has conducted analysis on many operational systems worldwide including C130, T6C, F16, F35, Merlin, Wildcat, Challenger 2, Type 23 Frigate, TGB360, Aegis Ashore as well as manpower and resource consultancy for major programs.

Prior to joining TFD Europe in 2004, Bill served within the Royal Air Force as an electronics technician for 22 years. Experienced in supporting first-line operations of the Tornado variants as well as managing the avionics repair shop at RAF Marham. After this, Bill moved into the world of logistics support modelling as the database administrator for the UK MOD tri-service Logistics Analysis Research Organisation (LARO). Here, Bill specialised in data management, ETL and modelling concepts.

Early in his RAF career, Bill attained an HND in electrical and electronic engineering and has taken a lifelong approach to education and development including formal qualifications in teaching, database management, hardware and software system support from major vendors and programmatical approaches to system support modelling.
