Rich Hannaman

Rich Hannaman is the Lead Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Analyst for the T-45 program, where he coordinates the efforts of three analysts and supports the T-45 Fleet Support Team in maintenance implementation. He was instrumental in developing the T-45 Depot Phase Maintenance Inspection (PMI) specification.

Previously, Rich served as the RCM analyst for the C-2A platform. A retired U.S. Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer, he brings decades of hands-on maintenance experience with aircraft including the A-6E, EA-6, F/A-18A–F, F-14 A/B/D, and S-3B.

Rich holds RCM Level III certification, DAU Life Cycle Logistics Level I, and FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic credentials. He is also recognized as a U.S. Navy Aviation Maintenance Manager and Acquisition Logistics Specialist.

With a strong background in instruction, Rich has served as a Navy instructor on the S-3B, P-3, and Confined Space Entry programs. He developed curriculum for P-8 maintenance training and currently teaches NAVAIR’s RCM for Practitioners course (Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced levels) as well as Pierian Academy’s Fundamentals of RCM. He also contributed to the development of NAVAIR’s RCM Basic and Advanced course content.
